I finally bit the bullet and went to get measured for a new bra today. i haven't actually ever been to get properly measured before so thought it was about time, and boy was i in for a shock - 36G oh my god!!

pre pregnancy i was a 34DD and very happy with that, i know it's the milk that's made them so big but a G is just rediculous..they're going to be big for a while yet too as i'm planning on BF for at least 6 months so i guess i'd better get used to it.

to make me feel batter about the depressing boulder holders i was forced to buy i decided to treat myself to some nice pants too, at least some part of me will look nice! think i'll have a mooch on the bravissimo website soon too, they do big bras in nice styles..

two of my friends have inspired me to join weightwatchers. both have been quite big for a number of years and both have lost lots of weight and feel great so i thought i'd give it a try. i didn't diet or anything after having oliver some came off naturally and then i did the cambridge diet when he was about 6 months old and lost 1 1/2 stone in 2 months. the results were so quick but it was a totally drastic diet, basically you can't eat anything you just survive on meal replacement soups and milkshakes. ideally i dont want to resort to doing it again i'd rather diet the sensible way and learn to eat better so i have more chance of keeping the weight off but if it comes to a couple of months before the wedding and i still haven't lost it i'll just have to.

so, i'm joining one of the WW meetings my friend goes to, it's 6.30pm on friday. i was gonig to go today but haven't had chance to express some milk for phoebe's 7pm feed so i'm going to have to start next week. i'm nervous but excited!

wish me luck x

i've somehow survived another tough few days and managed to come out alive, yay to me.

i've been so done in at times i've even had a little cry which practically unheard of for me. i was seriously beginning to think i had post natal depression but thankfully i managed to stick it out and things got better. now i feel a whole lot better.

phoebe has been crying loads and has been really unsettled and oliver has been throwing major tantrums loads. his screaming and phoebe's crying meant i had a constant and because i'm breastfeeding i couldn't take anything stronger than a paractamol. i reached breaking point quite a few times but things have got a lot better now.

oliver is still having tantrums but it's not me dealing with them today as i've sent him up MIL2B's whilst h2b is out at an interview. phoebe has settled down loads now and i even managed to get her in bed for 7pm last night which has never happened before, hopefully it wasn't a one off.

The weathers absolutely fab today so i think i might go for a sunbathe in the garden whilst phoebe's asleep.

i'm so happy i'm finally feeling more human, long may it last!

oh and p.s i weighed myself yest and i'm now 12st 7lb, so have lost another 2lb. 2 stone to go till my target of 10st 7lb and 430 days until the wedding!

ok so where was i.. ah yes the nightmare that was toddler group on friday..

so i've just discovered the huge wet patch on my top from my boobs leaking and phoebe has once again woken up and is wailing the place down. i decide im going to have to feed her but decide against trying to drag oliver home early and instead opt to feed her there.

now i'm not embarressed to admit to being a bit of a prude. i know this was a room full of other women and children not old enough to understand what breastfeeding is but still i'm not one for getting them out in public so i was relieved to be offered the staff room to feed her in. one of the other mums offered to watch oliver for me, so off phoebe and i went.

so we settle down for a feed but still i'm stressing over my top, cringing at the thought of everyone seeing such a massive wet patch. i mean i barely know these women, we do chat at these sessions but mainly it's all about our children and thats the only thing we have in common. we know each other only by who is who's childs mum. i doubt any of them know my name and i dont know many of theirs, i'm just referred to as 'olivers mum.

unluckily for me i have nosebleeds really often which are usually triggered by stress or by being too hot. this was so not a great time to have one but before i know it i've got blood running down my face and nothing to stop it with. whilst i was in a tizz trying to sort phoebe out i'd forgotton to bring the changing bag with me so had no baby wipes to stop the flow. there were no tissues in the room either so the blood ended up all down my top. i knew better than to stop phoebe mid feed as she'd kick off big time so i just had to sit there helplessly dripping blood all over my already wet stained top.

once she'd finished i put phoebe over my shoulder and rushed to the toilets to sort out my face and top. i managed to clean up my face ok but the top was beyond help. meanwhile on my shoulder phoebe lets out a huge burp and is then sick all in my hair and again, on my top.

could this get any worse!?

eventually i emerge from the toilets looking like a right state the looks on the other mums faces said it all i must had looked like a loon. phoebe was happy though and asleep at last so i put her down and sat down with oliver to enjoy the rest of the session.

my embarressment was soon forgot when there was an accident at the end of the session. the kids always have some fruit and juice and sing songs before going home and todays choicewas banana, apple and strawberries. oliver ate his then decided to go around trying to swipe some more fruit from the other childrens bowls so, mortifyed i got up and managed to get him to sit back down again. suddenly one of the little girls started coughing, she had a peice of fruit stuck in her throat and ws chocking. her mum put her over her knee and slapped her back but still it wouldn't come out so she yells for help. all of us, bar one was frozen in shock i didnt know what to do. one mum did go to her aid though, and lucky for everyone she's a trained nurse. she took laura and put her over her knee, again slapping her back hard and trying to reach the offending peice of fruit to get it out. still she was struggling and little laura couldn't breathe, she said we'd have to ring an ambulance but luckily no sooner had she said that that the peice of apple came flying out of laura's mouth and she was able to take a deep breath.

i have never been so scared in my life, thank god for the mum that was a nurse i dread to think what would have happened had it not been for her. after witnessing that i've decided i need to go on a baby/children first aid course, if anything like that were to happen to my kids i need to know what to do.

sorry for the morbid ending guys but i hope you enjoyed laughing at my expense over my now ruined top. (yes it did go straight in the bin when i got home it was way beyond salvage!)

yesterday was my first outing solo with both children and let me say this,, it didn't exactly go to plan.

h2b had to go to an interview and so i had to go it alone to the toddlers session we always go to on a friday. last friday we'd gone together and it worked well as h2b watched ollie and i dealt with phoebe who decided it was time to make herself heard and spent most of the time crying her head off. in the end i had to leave 45 mins early to go home and feed her, h2b and ollie stayed until the end and then came home afterwards.

so this week i made sure we were all up, ready and out to be there on time. i'd fed phoebe loads before leaving in a hope that she'd be fine until we got home in less than 2 hours time. the toddler group is held at the library a couple of streets away from our house and so i piled them both into the phil and teds and off we went.

we arrive at the library and oliver goes off to play. no sooner have to unstrapped him that phoebe starts kicking off big time, proper wailing her head off. so i get her out and try to calm her down. i manage to settle her for about half an hour so i put her back in the buggy for a lie down and pop to the loo. in the toliet mirror i'm mortifyed to find a huge (and i mean massive, literally from my v neck to my waist) wet patch down my top. unluckily for me my breastpad must have come dislodged whilst i was jiggling phoebe about and i'd leaked all down my top. shit. i didn't have a spare top or a coat to cover it and there were no hand dryers in the toliets. double shit.

to top it off phoebe had woken up again and was wailing her head off...

speaking of she's just woke up gonna have to finish this later..

Oh it sounds like your doing great already - just dont try and do too much. I know when i had my 2nd the pressure to do everything for both of them was overwelming. As for the leaking - when my lil one was about 6 weeks i went to lunch with some friend (who dont have kids) and was mortified half way through meal when i looked down and saw i had leaked all over top. They where disgusted and that was end of lunch ! I can laugh about it now though, Keep us posted i love ur blogs.
