Subject : Choosing our venue???
Hiya, this is my first post and i need some help please! We cant decide where to wed!
We booked our wedding in Cyprus for sep 08 but due to money and having a lil boy we decided to move it to Sept 09 but after lots of talking with h2b we have decided we need to have a small budget so now we are cancelling cyprus altogether! We have a big family so have thought of getting wed in the lake district with only a few guests but how do we decide on our venue? or do we get married locally so all the family can come and we wont have the wedding breakfast because that seems to bump up the budget? so many decsions but dont know how to decide, iam very indecesive anyway
sorry to go on but wud love any ideas xxx

before we chose our venue we made a list of what we wanted from the venue, a rough budget and went armed with a camera so we could get opinions later on, we saw around 10 venues and knew we wanted to get married in the hotel we chose from the minute we walked in, we both loved it and felt the search could end with the other venues we was finding faults and it just didnt feel right, have you started looking at venues? or drawn up a budget yet??

we were so set on Adams beach cyprus but i know that we will never save enough money for next year and i really dont wanna put the wedding off again, so thats why we are going to change the venue. Ive only looked on the internet at places in the lake district and i like the look of a few of them but it doesnt compare to Cyprus! our budget is so small mayb about £2500, we are not very gud at saving but iam sure i wont b able to afford more bcos we have so many things going on at home with work on our house and my h2b with his new business! so everything points to this is totally the wrong time to marry but i dont wanna put it off again. xxx

Im sure youll find something to suit your budget maybe if you done it closer to home so more rellies could come they could help you out more? have you got a garden big enough to hold an evening reception?? or anyone in your family just thinking you could maybe have it there, i know what you mean about putting it off we was gonna originally be married this year but pregnancy put a stop to that
