Subject : FAO BUCKINGHAMSHIRE BRIDES!!

Hey girls

I've officialy had my first bridezilla moment!

I'm getting married in Newton Longville on the 27th September and we are having the reception just outside of Aylesbury in Notley Tythe Barn. I had booked Tammy Saw florists in Aylesbury to do the flowers as she had some great ideas.

BUT... just had a letter through the post, she has returned my deposit as she is closing!! NIGHTMARE!!!

I don't live in the area anymore so i'm dreading having to search for another florist.

Can any of you recommend anyone?

Thanks!!

x Surprised

Oh that's pants! I'm not having a florist s my mum's frind is doing the flowers for me, but I just wanted to say hi to my fellow Notley Tythe Barn(er), I get married there 26 July - just under 12 weeks now weeeeee! I personally haven't even looked into using a florist but if you call Notley then they'll be able to give you ideas of who they've used before xxx

I can help, I can help!

Justine from 'JF flowers' is doing my lovely tulips for me in August. She is a really lovely friendly florist with lots of ideas (a massive portfolio!) and is willing to accomodate any type of budget!

Give her a go!

Hey BeauPea- hope your good! times going quickly now isn't it! I went to the Barn the other day to talk about the menu etc and saw the new look- the new path up to the entrance looks ace doesn't it?! I forgot about asking Notley about flowers though- i'm sure they recommend someone in their brochure so i'll have a peek!

Wilk- thanks for your help! I'll check out the website now!

Cheers!!

Sophielizlou - I think it looks great - my mum's not so sure but it looks much 'grander' now! I can't believe how quick things are going, we're giving notice next Wednesday so hopefully we'll be able to finalise all the little niggly things that fly around your head at the most random times! I also had my first dress fitting last week - oh I'm so happy with my dress I could burst! Good luck with the flowers, let me know how you get on.
xx

Yes it definately looks grander- much more of a proper entrance rather than walking round the side of the garden!

I have my dress fitting next week- can't wait!! so excited! we ordered our wedding rings the other day, everything seems to be coming together now!!

x

P.S Has anyone else got any details of florists in Bucks?!

Hi,
I am having a lady called Elizabeth Cross and she has a website too, I found her at the wedding fayre in Aylesbury and she is lovely.
She works from home so her prices are a bit cheaper but the flowers she has done before look amazing!!
Have a look and see what you think, she lives in Granborough x

She usually gets back to you quite quickly and as I said she is lovely.
I am going to see her again next week just to confirm everything as I am getting married 4 weeks today!
Let me know how you get on x

Well she got back to me very quickly, but unfortunately- she's fully booked on our wedding date!

AAAAAAAAAARGH!!

She seems so lovely though and she has said she will pass my details onto another florist she knows.

Starting to panic slightly now! I know i've got 4 months to go but was so pleased that we had everything organised!!

more aaaaaargh!
