Just wondering if theres anyone else who wants to wear a proper princess dress but is getting married in July?!!!

Cos im getting married in july 2010 and im worried if its hot...i'll melt! lol! But i've dreamt of wearing a princess dress my whole life!!!

Mum thinks it'll be ok cos of air conditioning and shade...but it'll still be hot in the sun!!!

i'm getting married on 2nd August 08 and I think my dress is a BIG dress but its quite light to wear, although I have only had it on in a nice air con'd shop!! x

go for it im having a big dress getting wed in sept but i say go for it as long as you have a hoop or something to keep the skirt off your legs i think youll be fine x

I ahve a huge heavy dress and getting married in June also my bodice is really tiight,

I say go for it but keep cold water to hand and one of those hand held fans near by!

I did read somewere have a hooped underskirt as it keeps it away from your legs and gives you a cool air pocket!!!

Hiya I will be able to tell u after July lol.... my dress is 9 layers with a 6 layer petti coat underneath! I am so worried now coz the last few days have been well hot and its not even summer yet! eek lol x

my dress is big and has layers of tuelle and a hoop !!!

but sod it ... i get married in june this year ,,,,

what can ya do ?? im not giving up my big dress .!!!!!!!!! j xx

My dress isn't huge, but it's big eoungh & has a hooped underskirt. I'm getting married in August and am hoping that the Lake District will be cool, although if this last week's anything to go by it could be really rather hot! The dress is duchess satin, so probably not the most ideal fabric, but I feel wonderful in it and so it'll be right whatever the weather!

My dress isnt big but its three thick layers and a tight corset top! i soooooooooooo know im going to faint, im getting married on 30 august this year and im melting now!
Also i cant sit, eat, or breath with my dress on but what the hell x

WEll, went for a fitting for my dress today - and it fits perfectly, only thing is I've only just realised that I am going to be boiling in the blasted thing - wedding in 5 weeks.

It's fitted at the top and about 7 layers of tool and masses of silk and long train. Oh goodness - thankfully I've got another dress lined up to wear in the evening, which is just less dress.

I'm getting married in st lucia and my dress is bigish I am only doing this once so I have gone for it!!.xx
