Well i went dress shopping a few weeks ago and as i have broke my ankle it was a nightmare and i had to buy my dress asap as my wedding is in September in Italy. I chose this dress;-

Are both dresses in the same shop?

If so you could ask them to swap the money from the first one to the second one.

I don't know if this is really what you want to hear but I totally prefer the justin alexander dress! I think it is perfect for a wedding abroad and it is quite unusual as I haven't seen anything like it myself! But, ifg you have really got your heart set on the other your only real option is to try and negotiate with the wedding shop and see if they will let you swop! Good luck x

I think the Augusta Jones dress is by far the more beautiful, it really is stunning. If that is the one you love then just make it happen.x

oh please don't swap - i LOVE the one you have bought - it is really unique and has such a great impact even in the pics (the other one looks quite plain in comparison)

I agree with Sarah, go with your heart! The bridal shop may give you credit notes instead so you could get your accessories or whatever there instead. Good luck x

but if you really want to swap and the shop stock both designers ask if they can swap - don't ask you don't get!

I like them both but possibly the second one more. Just explain how you feel to them and see what you can do.

They are honestly both gorgeous though and you obviously liked the first one enough to put down a deposit. I think everyone just goes through a bit of a doubting stage so you are not alone.

I absolutely love your first choice - it is so stunning!! BUT you need to feel like a princess on your day and what looks better in a picture may not be the one that makes you shine from inside out. Go with your gut instinct and you'll make the right choice xxx

i think the 1st choice is lovely, different too, perfect for an overseas wedding, i tried the augusta jones one on and it is stunning too, i didn't end up going for that one, i fell for another dress. you should do with your heart and ask the shop if you can change if you really want to, have you tried the augusta jones one on? x

both dresses are lovely but very different from each other. have you tried the second one on?
As you could love it or hate it on must say if i had to pick think it would be dress 1.

I love the first dress. I haven't seen anything like it and I've looked at a lot of dresses!

Maybe don't do anything about cancelling the first til you've tried on the second and then go back and try the first one on again and maybe that will make things clearer?

Thanks for all your comments. I am going to call the shop tomorrow just to find out if i can get a refund or credit not (just incase) unfortantly they dont stock Augusta Jones (so i may have to stick to the first one)!!!
