| Choice of bridesmaids |
I have just had todo this, a true friend wil understand, and accept your decision (and still want to be involved regardless) I only wanted one (my sis) and then decided that I (and she) could do with a third person (2nd BM) to ease the tension a little. Took me three months to decide, which one to choose. My advice is to pick a time when it is just the 2 of you and just do it (and don't wind ourself up into an over-emotional frenzy either!)

You should take her to one side and explain the reasons why you havnt chosen her. At least then she knows and wont be left wondering what she has done or why she hasnt been approached. You should tell her in person, maybe go out for a drink and just tactfully metion it.

I would just tell her it was a hard decision and that you thought alot about it and that if you could have more in the wedding party you would, but unfortunatly you couldn;t and that you had to make a hard choice. why not ask her to do a reading or ask her to help you choose your cake or hand out favours, let her be involedin some way
