Hi I don't particularly like the wife of the best man. She's not done anything wrong, but she just annoys me. I'm assuming that if the BM is married, his wife sits at the top table too and I'm worried that having her at the top table (we are planning to have a round 'top table') would spoil the day as she'd annoy me! Do I have to just grin and bear it? Anyone go any ideas??? Thx

Dont sit her at the top table - i have NEVER seen partners at the top table. You can wave to her at the back- well out of earshot x enjoy x

It's not usual to have BM wife on the top table so just sit her on a table with others

I don't want to even invite bm's wife, she's offended me by taking a dislike to my son and generally acting like a loon. I don't really know what to do about the situation though, I mean.. can I get away with not inviting her? hmm.. it's a dilema.

Anyway, traditionally NO, the partners of the bridal party do not sit at the top table. The top table should be: parents of bride and groom, groom, bride, best man, bridesmaids, possibly flowergirls and pageboys too, depending on age and whether they can be away from their parents.
that's it, no-one else.. no partners or anything. Heck, my stepdad isn't gonna be at the top table, he's my step dad. That said, we probably wont have a top table lol.

I don't like my BM girlfriend. She's given me plenty of reson not too. I've invited her to the church and that's it. There's no way I'm having her around on my wedding day. Money and numbers are tight enough without having to invite people we don't like.
