| Gift List for evening do only? |
I think a lot of people expect it now and I know my guests won't be offended the same as I won't be offended if they don't get us anything. Sending the gift list means they dont have to go to the effort of requesting it. |

Just send them out, people will buy you a present and can choose what they want off your list or not. Anywway unless you can afford to send them out sepreately do it all together, people will not be offended!!

I am marrying for the 2nd time and haven't sent gift lists on either occasion - nor have I ever received one. I think I may have had an invite once that had details of a wedding list in a particular store. Both day guests and evening guests will want to give presents but personally I prefer to wait until asks and we are requesting vouchers. I would not feel right sending a list personally. Funny really as one couple who have declined sent me a charity request letter with their regret card! Now that's cheeky! |

I'm having my wedding in New York and a party on our return. We've suggested to both sets of guests that if they would like to buy us a present, then a contribution to our honeymoon fund would be greatly appreciated. Nobody minded and asked if cash or cheque was accepted!!! Just send the list to everyone, they will be expecting it. |
