My soon to be sister in law is been a Bridesmaid as she has never been one before and initially was very excited, for months Ive shown her the picture of the Bridesmaid dresses and chose a style that will suit everyone, you know it hides all your lumps asnd bumps and isnt a skinny fit as she is paranoid about her weight jsut like most of us really. Anyway the other Bridesmaids were fittied yesterday and I chose the colours etc but she couldnt make it and her fitting is on Thursday, I mentioned last night that the older maids including her are having pink dresses and the younger ones are having white, so now she has stated that pink doesnt suit her (although shes known my colour scheme for at least 9 months) and that she ought to have a white dress too. I am son annoyed as my dress is white and I dont want an adult maid in white. How can I tell her that its pink or nothing? I am so upset as Ive really bent over backwards to make sure she'd feel comfortable etc and now shes causing me hassle before we have even got to the fitting....it also doesnt help that her mother (mother in law) is so forceful and can be quite nasty if she doesnt get her way so Im now really worried about the fitting as I know she will want her own way and I really dont want her in a different colour as she isnt my cheif bridesmaid or anything...help, how can i sort this out???

Yep I agree. Tell her it's pink or nothing. Some people want everything their way don't they!

hey!!! I think you are right to be annoyed!
I would be really upset and annoyed at that.
At the end of the day its your wedding, your decision. I know your prob worried about starting confrentation.
but she already knew the colours as you say 9 months ago and its not her choice anyway.
You need to be open and honest with her and if all else fails just say this is the dress you have chosen and you don't want to change it.
If that fails have a chat to your h2b. im sure he knows how to handle his sister!
I have my fingers crossed for you hun!
Let me know how it goes!! x
