| dress over budget ??? |
I have just discovered that my dream dress is available in the US for one third of the price here! I'm feeling tempted and wondered if anyone has ordered their dress from overseas??? |

I ended up going for a dress double my budget. Figured I would cut corners on some other stuff which was far less important to me and that was pretty easy - just went for slightly cheaper flowers/favours etc to make up the difference. Do watch the import tax on stuff from the States. Agree with previous - worth paying less if you have time, and also if you have time to get something else heaven help a disaster when it arrives!! |

when are you getting married? So long as the place in the US is reputable I'd order it from the US... so long as you know that it is exactly the same one. I'm having a similar problem in that I've fallen in love with a £1300 dress by Benjamin Roberts and only set aside £1000 for my dress, veil and shoes. Eeek. Think my H2B will divorce me b4 we're even married at this rate. x x |
