is it ok for friend to give me away?

Hi,
Just wanted to say sorry to hear your dad passed away.

I think its really lovely that you asked your friend to walk you down the isle, im sure you'll be nervous and emotional on the day and to have a good friend on your arm who will calm you and be there beside you is just such a good idea. Plus your friend no doubt will find this a huge honour that you've asked him, Obviously he could never replace your father but im sure he'll do his best to make sure you're ok on the day

All the best xx
Kitty
