The bride-to-be diet

Unless you’re (annoying and) can eat whatever you want without gaining an ounce, chances are you’d like to lose a few pounds before your big day.

Finding the right diet plan can be hard though, which is why we’ve devised something special to get rid of those wobbly bits and make you glow from the inside out.

Just mix and match meals from the meal plan and you’ll soon be aisle-ready. Just don’t blame us if you need your dress taking in!

MONDAY

Breakfast: Apricot and almond porridge

Mix 3-4 dessertspoons of oats with 3 times as much water, a pinch of salt, 2 dessertspoons of chopped almonds and 4 finely chopped apricots in a pan. Simmer for 10 minutes.

Snack: 1 mango

Lunch: Tuna nicoise

Top 3 cups of mixed leave with 1 can of drained tuna in spring water, 1 cup of steamed green beans, half a cup of cooked potato and half a cup of chopped tomato. Sprinkle with capers and drizzle with lemon juice.

Snack: 2 tbsp mixed seeds

Dinner: Chicken and broccoli

Marinade 1 skinless chicken breast with 2 tsps of lemon juice and olive oil and ½tsp each of crushed garlic, rosemary and mustard. Grill. Boil 1-2 cups of broccoli and drizzle with 1/2tsp of crushed garlic and lemon juice.
