Q: I am looking for some round toe kitten heels for my wedding. I can only find pointy ones. Any ideas of where to look?
Emmy Scarterfield: Take a look at my style Poppy or Emmy, either of these styles can be made on a 5cm heel for you and still look gorgeous! What you should look for is a shape that doesn't come up too high on the foot, therefore not looking too heavy, plus not to have too thick a heel.
Q: I am wearing a fabulous high collar jacket over my dress - I wasn’t going to wear a traditional veil, as it won’t sit right. However, I quite like the idea of a veil similar to the one Reese Witherspoon wore in Sweet Alabama - any ideas where I could get one of these?
Emmy Scarterfield: I would be careful of having too much as it might conflict with the line of your coat. I would suggest having a shorter veil, either to be worn over your face or worn back over your hair. We do some styles at www.emmyshoes.co.uk. Alternatively you could always consider a hair decoration rather than a veil. Either way, I would always recommend trying with your dress and coat before you commit to anything.
Q: The wedding has quite a vintage feel to it and the colours are chocolate and pink. What are your thoughts on shoes? Should I stick to ivory?
Emmy Scarterfield: Pink shoes could be lovely with your look, just make sure you have something else within your outfit that co ordinates, even if it's just your flowers. Any of my styles can be made in the colour of your choice (pink) on a 3.5cm heel height. I would suggest going for a soft pink suede with a bronze leather trim to incorporate the chocolate colour as well.
Q: I’ve been looking for a pair of pearl chandelier earrings for a while now and can’t find anything I like in my price range (tight budget!) I am not wearing a tiara, having my hair up and only a simple necklace so really wanted a bit of a statement. Any ideas?
Emmy Scarterfield: Depending on how tight your budget is, I would check out what Accessorize and M&S have to offer. If you could stretch the budget a little then have a look at Luella's Boudoir and Kirsten Goss.
