  • Layering is the key to making fragrance last all day, from the moment you say “I do” right up until the last dance at the reception. Here’s your five-step guide to smelling glorious

  • Once you’ve found your wedding fragrance, treat yourself to the perfumed bath and body products from the same range.
  • After bathing or showering with the fragranced product, apply perfume to the wrist, inside the bend of the elbow, the dip of the collar bone, the nape of the neck, around the navel, behind the knees and behind the ankles so it will linger all day.
  • Apply body moisturiser. By applying the cream last, you seal the fragrance next to your skin where it works its magic with your body chemistry. It lasts longer too.
  • Spray your fragrance on your hairbrush, add a few drops to your lingerie and the lining of your dress then, just before setting off for the venue, spray a heart-shaped mist above your head to fragrance your hair, your skin and your dress.
  • Don’t forget a handbag-sized spray so that you can refresh your fragrance throughout the day.
