Why I love it...
Chanel always do the most exquisite limited edition beauty products and the new Fall 2007 collection is no exception. When this covetable compact landed on my desk, there were coos all round the office (always a sure sign that a product will be a sell-out) and I had to wrestle it from the hands of one determined colleague who had plans for it on her dressing table!
The signature Chanel black compact contains four creamy lip-colours in the shape of perfect, mini camelia flowers – in rosy white, rosy beige, plum and peach-pink. You can use each shade alone or blend them together for lips that are delicately tinted and ever-so-slightly iridescent. The only problem is that the flowers are so perfect and pretty, I’m not sure I could bring myself to damage their petals and use them at all.
The compact is available at Chanel counters nationwide from August 20th but it is a limited edition so don’t delay!
