Why I love it...
I’m a big fan of Darphin products for two reasons – firstly, they work (the most important thing in anyone’s book) and secondly, they are an absolute dream to use. You see, the thing with beauty products (much like exercise equipment) is that however brilliant they are, they’ll only work if you actually use them. I’ve tried some pretty amazing face creams in my time but I’ve yet to find one that’s so technologically advanced, it can improve your skin just by sitting on your bathroom shelf.
And that’s where Darphin gets it right. Their products are, without exception, so lovely to use that sticking to a beauty regime feels like a real treat. The new 8-Flower Nectar not only relieves dryness and leaves your skin velvety soft, smooth and glowing, it also smells absolutely heavenly. Composed of eight skin-nourishing essential oils – Ylang Ylang, Patchouli, Neroli, Rose, Jasmine, Ever-lasting, Iris and Lavender – this potent little elixir is a miracle for skin that’s prone to feeling dry, tight or flaky and is brilliant for this time of year when the start of colder weather can leave skin out of balance.
Darphin recommend that before you apply the Nectar, you open the bottle and just inhale the fragrance, allowing your senses to experience the aromatherapy benefits of the oils. Then massage five drops into your face and neck before applying your usual face cream. It only takes a few seconds but it’s a ritual that can make a real difference to the way you feel and after a few weeks will make a huge difference to your skin.
