Jan Marini Transformation Cream, £60

Why I love it...

If you want products that make your skin look better – rather than just looking pretty on your bathroom shelf – then Jan Marini is definitely a brand worth looking into. Named after the creator of the line, these products are based on serious research – for example, Jan Marini pioneered the use of Glycolic Acid to improve skin texture, long before the technology was being used in the mass market.

Her range contains products to tackle aging and sun-damage, acne and rosacea, but they’re also fantastic if you just want to improve the overall condition of your skin. The Transformation Cream is one of my favourite products in the line and it’s suitable for all skin-types – more than just a moisturiser, it makes your skin look smoother and more healthy in a matter of weeks. Ok, so the jar isn’t the most appealing I’ve ever seen, but if the product works, I can live with that.
