6 July BECCA Compact Concealer

Why I love it...
The products that make the biggest difference to how you look often aren’t the most exciting ones. Limited edition palettes and covetable lipglosses make us coo over the beauty counter but a good concealer can transform the way you look – and feel – in seconds.

BECCA Compact Concealer, £28, is absolutely incredible – I first tried it on a bad-skin-day when I wanted to stick a paper bag over my head, and it made my face look almost flawless.

What’s unusual about this concealer is it combines two formulations for different levels of cover in one compact – an extra-cover formula on the left and medium cover on the right. You can use the medium-cover formula under the eyes or to even out skin-tone and then use the more opaque extra-cover version on more serious spots and blemishes.

The best thing is it comes in an incredible 34 shades so you can get an exact colour match – which means you get a natural finish even if you need a heavy application. I find it works best if I apply it with a brush and then gently press it into the skin using my fingertip in a kind of rolling motion.

If you get a breakout on your big day, this little compact will save your life. Visit www.beccacosmetics.com or call 020 7225 2501.
