Why I love it...
When people ask me what they can do to make themselves look better instantly, I always tell them to curl their eyelashes. It only takes about 30 seconds but it’s the single thing that will make the most dramatic improvement to your appearance. Don’t be tempted to pick up a cheap pair of curlers from your local chemist though – all eyelash curlers are not created equal. Shu Uemura’s set is a make-up artist favourite because it delivers the perfect, natural-looking curl, whereas many cheaper versions just give your lashes a ridiculous ‘L-shaped’ kink.
The ergonomic design means you don’t have to clamp overly hard to get a dramatic and long-lasting curl – just close the curler at the base of your lashes, hold for about 15 seconds and release. The result? Flirty, wide-eyed Bambi-lashes before you’ve even started with your mascara…
