Hi Everyone
We have been busy this week searching for thank you gifts for our wedding party – and luckily we found the perfect keepsakes for all our attendants. I obviously cannot tell you what they are as they are all probably reading the diary!
Luke and I had a successful wedding catch up this week and finalised the last few details for the big day. Everybody loved our wedding invites, which is good and our guests are happy with our choice for our wedding menu too. The party RSVP’s have been flooding in and we have had a mixture of yes & no’s – so hopefully most people will reply soon so we can finalise the numbers.
Our Ipod playlist for the party did not go as smoothly as planned. I ended getting a bit stressed so we have decided to let Luke and some of our friends handle it and do the list. It’s so hard trying to think of music that everyone will like I think we are just going to ask everyone to do a play list and just have a mixture of everyone’s music.
My nephews Brandon & Marcus stayed over this weekend and tried their pageboy outfits on. Luckily they fitted perfectly – so all I need to do now is get their shoes. I have attached a picture of Brandon as he wanted his picture taken for this diary as he was so excited wearing his outfit. I became an aunty again this week, so our youngest pageboy Teddy was born who will be just under 2 months at the wedding. We managed to get him the same outfit as our two other younger pageboys – he will look so cute!
We also came up with our list of shots we would like our photographer to take. We wittled it down to about 30! Is that about a normal number to ask for? An article I saw in a magazine stated the perfect 75 must have shots – but we think that seems a bit excessive. To be honest we just really want more reportage shots and just a few formal ones taken. Luckily, a good friend of mine Ryan who shoots some of the fashion pages in YYW is flying out to Spain to take our pictures. We are so lucky and pleased that he has agreed to do take our wedding pictures, as I know they will be exactly what we want.
I am getting slightly nervous this week, as my hen do is approaching this weekend. We are dressing up as 80s and going to a roller disco in Vauxhall, then onto Reflex nightclub in St Pauls. My bridesmaids will be taking over the diary next week to fill you in on the big night. But – I will be vetting it first!
