Skin SOS - Normal skin
Follow our normal skin tips from celebrity facialist Anastasia Achilleos for a glowing bridal complexion
A completely "normal" skin is pretty rare and even if there are no obvious problems, it's best to adopt a regular maintenance programme. As a general rule, stick to face creams packed with age-defying antioxidants and masks that help boost the skin's natural glow.
DIY
Prep: Invest in Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish, £10 (www.lizearle.com), for an aromatic deep cleanse. The balm and muslin cloth also act as a gentle exfoliator to help boost brightness and skin clarity.
Prime: Moisturise with Körner Radiate Presence Day Cream, £60 (020 7349 8652). Containing natural moisturisers and amino acids, it boosts hydration levels, leaving it soothed and toned.
Protect: Take time at night to tackle skin ageing with SK II Advanced Signs Treatment Cream (pictured), £95 (08000 721 771). The active ingredient pitera (a by-product of the Japanese saké fermentation process) helps supplement the skin's supportive collagen network.
Perfect: Use Elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel, £25 (01278 727 830), once a week to break down the deposits that can leave skin looking dull. An instant perk-up for your complexion, its gentle formula makes it ideal to use the night before your big day.
