It’s 10 days and counting until the wedding…
This week I’ve been trying to tie up loose ends and make sure everything possible has been thought of. The weather has been blissful which has made it really hard to concentrate on anything but sunbathing in the garden!
The first thing I did was visit the venue for the second time. I saw it a few weeks ago and since then it has warped in my mind – some rooms had grown and others had shrunk! When I saw then venue again it was still breath taking and now it has officially opened it’s much easier to imagine what it will be like to have the ceremony there. There is a spa area for me and the bridesmaids to relax in the night before, and the bridal suite is to die for!!
The second thing I did was pick up the jewellery we ordered for the wedding. As part of the prize from Heart 106 we won wedding jewellery from Stuart Thexton. As we had already bought our wedding rings, we decided it would be nice for me and the bridesmaids to have matching bracelets for the day. I decided that a silver one with small pink coloured diamonds in would be pretty, especially as the dresses are claret in colour. I can’t wait to see the bridesmaid’s faces as it will be a big surprise for the day!
Since I won the wedding, time has just flown by, it only seems like yesterday that Heart announced we’d won, and now it’s less than two weeks away! I can’t wait to be married and I’m so excited about seeing all of my friends and family in one place. I could never have imagined I’d have such an extravagant wedding, I can’t believe how lucky I am.
Next week I need to chat to Heart about our play list for wedding as one of their DJs will be playing at the event, and I also need to speak with the photographer. I haven’t even decided on the song for the first dance yet – any ideas?!
