Whether you want a showstopper or just don’t want to embarasse yourself in front of your guests, it’s a good idea to take some dance lessons several months in advance of your wedding. Twiggy123 from our chatroom says: ‘ I’ve had first dance lessons – two lessons so far and it’s been great fun! We have 2 minutes of our 2.3 min routine completed! A studio might actually be better as there are mirrors and you can see what you are doing!’.
Nationwide:
Dance Matrix (0870 228 8150). London couples can get a basic package of two one-hour lessons from £140. Out of London, couples can get a package of three 45-minutes lessons from £145.
Surrey:
First Dance UK (0845 055 0729). A package of five one-hour lessons is £250, or you can start with a one-hour trial lesson for £60 and then upgrade to the full package if you wish.
Northamptonshire:
Start the dance (07905 243 262). A 60 minute lesson is £45, a 90 minute lesson is £60. Two other packages are available. Travel charges apply for lessons given beyond 20 miles of Kettering, Northamptonshire.
Midlands:
Zig Zag Dance factory (01902 897 900). Classes from £20 per couple for 45 minutes. Bronze, silver and gold price packages are currently being created.
North:
2 To Tango (07989 574 724). Price from £25 for a 30 minute lesson and £25 for a 1 hour lesson.
