The couple Alex and Tim met at university and dated for a couple of years. They split up when they both went travelling: Tim to South America and Alex to Africa. “After a few months we both coincidentally headed for Australia,” says Alex. “Tim called my mum to find out where in the world I was – then surprised me at the bar where I worked! We dated for a while and then went our separate ways again.” Their paths then crossed for a second time in Bali. “For that to happen twice felt like destiny and we’ve been together ever since,” she says.
