The couple Andrea and Jason met through work. Andrea worked as a PR for several football players, Jason was playing for Wimbledon, and the couple were introduced by some of Jason's old teammates, one of them was [the former Wimbledon Captain] Robbie Earle. Sadly, Robbie couldn't attend the wedding because he was commentating on the World Cup, but his wife Sandra came and he kept in touch by text throughout the day to see how the wedding was going.
Jason and Andrea had been dating for five years and he proposed in a restaurant called Lydon's in Wimbledon Village in August 2004. "I didn't even expect it," says Andrea. "I thought he was winding me up, and giving me a pair of earrings!"
