The couple Charlotte (known to most of you as CraftyCharli) met Christopher in a bar on the Newcastle Quayside in September 2000. Charlotte gave Christopher her number but he was too nervous to call, so it was lucky they bumped into each other again two weeks later. Christopher proposed on New Year's Eve 2004 after spending months looking for the perfect engagement ring. ‘He just couldn't find the sapphire in a platinum band he knew I wanted and didn't want to propose without,' says Charlotte. ‘But after several months without success he had no choice but to ask me without having the ring - which we then had to have made.'
