We had dreamt of exploring Peru’s ancient Inca heritage for many years, but didn’t fancy sweating it out backpacker-style on our honeymoon to reach the famous Machu Picchu. We wanted to indulge ourselves in five-star luxury all the way.
We made a stop-over in Miami en route to Peru and made the most of the warm Florida climate for a few days. We stayed at the elegant Four Seasons Resort in Palm Beach, with smart cabanas on the beach, a luxurious spa, gorgeous food and a nearby golf course. It was the perfect way to start our honeymoon in style.
