Danielle (Dee177) and Leighton met on a night out in Barnsley in Nov 2004. He'd recently moved to the area and spotted Danielle at the bar. Waiting until his friend had gone to the toilet, he told her he had lost his friends and asked if he could hang out with her! "It was lust at first sight," says Danielle, and they've been inseperable ever since.
Leighton proposed in August 2005 during a romantic weekend away to the Lowry Hotel in Manchester. As they were getting ready for dinner, he got down on one knee, with a stunning 2/3 carrat princess cut diamond white gold ring which he had designed himself.
