The couple Elise (also known as PinkBridezilla) and Neil met five years ago at a pub in Wolverhampton where they were both working part-time while studying at the university there. They met at a staff party and Elise was the first one there, she turned around to meet Neil and flashed him a trademark smile. It is then, Neil says, that he fell in love with her.
Neil proposed five months after the couple started going out with each other. They had spent the summer away from each other and Neil promised Elise they would never have to be apart from each other ever again. The proposal happened down on one knee in a typical student pub during Freshers' Week at Wolverhampton University.
Five years later they decided it was a good time to get married, since by then they had finished studying, found steady jobs and bought their first house together in Yorkshire. (Not forgetting starting their family off with their two kittens Disney and Trinity!)
