The couple Emma and Tim met in the Clapham Grand nightclub and he proposed during a Christmas break in Germany. They chose a church wedding followed by a reception in a barn. ‘Tim and I both wanted a country wedding and the minute I walked into Bury Court I knew it was the one,' says Emma who runs party design company EB Event Design (www.ebeventdesign.co.uk).
As her business is planning weddings and parties, Emma had very clear ideas about her own big day, and knew how important the finishing touches would be to the overall look for their October wedding. Emma wore an ivory duchess satin and organza empire line dress from Castagliano Collections and complemented it with original 1950's pearl and silver rondelle earrings from an antiques market. Tim wore a traditional morning suit from Hackett, and his waistcoat was ivory with fine silver blue piping around the neck and a deep blue paisley tie.
