The couple
Holly and Andrew met at a charity ball in June 2001 and later got together at the party of a family friend. They thought their second meeting was a complete coincidence, but found out later that a wily friend had set them up. Holly and Andrew live, play and work together. They co-own Sparks Yard, a lifestyle store in Arundel, West Sussex.
At the end of January 2006, Andrew whisked Holly off to Edinburgh for a surprise birthday treat, but there was a much bigger surprise to come. 'We were collected from the airport by a chauffeur and taken to the beautiful Balmoral Hotel in the city centre,' says Holly. 'Andrew took me straight down to the Bollinger Champagne Bar, ordered some fizz and then promptly got down on one knee and produced a box from Tiffany from his pocket. It was the most amazing moment and I was totally overwhelmed and shocked. Of course said yes straight away. I’m not even sure he had finished getting the question out.'
