'We met through work,' says Jackie. 'Daniel is a finance director and I’m managing director of Show Business Interiors, a company that designs and installs show homes for the property industry. Daniel proposed to me in Edinburgh. He organised a weekend away in December 2005 and we stayed at a fabulous hotel called The Witchery. We had dinner at its restaurant, The Secret Garden, and then he proposed to me later in our hotel suite. Apparently he’d been planning to propose in the castle grounds but I’d been complaining about how cold I was!'
