Karen works for shoe company LK Bennett and Richard is a bank executive for a Portuguese bank. 'We were introduced by a mutual friend and enjoyed a drink together one evening in the city,” says Karen. 'Due to circumstances nothing much happened for a year when out of the blue I decided to ring Richard and invite him out for a meal. From that moment on we were inseparable. After dating for over a year, Richard proposed with a beautiful Tiffany engagement ring and I immediately said yes!'
