The couple
Katy and Steve met in Bath, where Katy grew up. They were friends for 10 years and went out for 18 months before Steve proposed in April 2005.
"Steve had been working away for three weeks and the time apart had clarified for both of us what we really wanted," says Katy. "It wasn't a dramatic proposal, but it was very special nonetheless. On his return, we decided that we wanted to get married - he asked the question and I said 'yes'!"
