The couple Michelle and David met at Stellenboch University when David crashed one of her friend's parties. David's plan to propose at a vineyard lunch date was delayed while he waited for Michelle's mother to come home, knowing she would want to phone her straight away. After a few glasses of Dutch courage he popped the question, and the couple got married 18 months later.
