Rachel and Riccardo met when they were both students at medical School in London. 'We got together at the end of our second year just when we were revising for our exams!' says Rachel. 'We got engaged in March 2004. Ric took me away to on a surprise holiday in Vienna where we stayed in a fabulous hotel. He’d already bought the ring – one that I had pointed out the previous year – and he got down on one knee after dinner and popped the question. Then the waiter bought us champagne and took a photo of us with me proudly showing off my brand new ring.'
