Sarah and Martin met when they both worked at Barings Bank in London. Sarah is now PA to the Vice Chairman for Asset Management at Credit Suisse and Martin is a sales manager for Thames River Capital. 'We were away for a winter weekend in Stockholm and after ordering some champagne at a great bar we were in Martin impulsively popped the question!' says Sarah.
'As the moment took him completely by surprise – as well as me – he followed this up later with a surprise proposal at home. I got back from work to discover a rose petal strewn, candlelit apartment complete with romantic music and champagne. Martin proposed for a second time on bended knee and naturally, I very happily accepted!'
