Teresa and Peter met 10 years ago through their work. Teresa, 43, now works with Peter, 57, in their business, Peoplewise, which runs corporate team building events. Teresa also has a business designing, coordinating and managing weddings and parties - www.fridayislandweddings.co.uk.
The couple didn’t make it to the altar without a few hiccups. 'Peter proposed twice – the first time it took me about four months to reply with a yes, and he said he was having second thoughts because his sons were having such a difficult time with their mother,' says Teresa. 'We decided to leave it for a while and I had forgotton all about it until suddenly he proposed again – this time there was an immediate answer!'
