Ed Sheeran was the most popular artist when it came to first dance songs in 2016, and what a surprise – he’s topped the bill again in 2017. A survery by Voucher Codes Pro revealed that an incredible one in seven couples will be sharing their first dance as newlyweds to an Ed Sheeran tune.
John Legend and Adele shared the second spot, with 9% of brides and grooms revealing they planned to dance to their music on their wedding day. They were followed by Beyoncé with 7% of the vote and Michael Bublé with 6%.
Only 10% of couples said they would dance to a song that wasn’t released in the past five years, and out of that 10%, Whitney Houston proved to be the most popular choice.
