We're very excited to reveal our shortlist for the You & Your Wedding 2015 Bridal Retail Awards.

Industry experts, including Y&YW's own Editor Maxine Briggs and Editor-At-Large Peta Hunt, joined forces earlier this month to select the brands that they think offer top service to our beloved brides. Also in the panel were The Gift Library's Caroline Stanbury and interior designer Sophie Conran, and with such an array of talent to cast their eyes across the wedding spectrum, we couldn't wait to let you know who they've marked as retail royalty.

The awards celebrate those who provide the best experience for couples planning their big day, and all our finalists are tip top at helping make the journey from just engaged to blushing bride as fun and fabulous as possible. The winners of each category will be announced in style in February – watch this space.

S9 Madeline Isaac-James is my favourite. Wonderful personal service. The bride is their focus - they are understanding and empathetic to all that is potentially challenging to the bride and do everything they can to make their part in the wedding an enjoyable one.
The dresses are wonderful. Materials used are excellent, real value for money when compared like for like.
I have recommended many brides to Madeline Isaac-James gowns and their lovely shop in Farnham. Without exception all the brides have been delighted.
Let's give recognition and credit to hardwork, original design and customer service with no insider connections. An award for Madeline Isaac-James is merited.

Louise60 I went to Miss Bush Bridalwear after my sister found her dream dress there. I tried to go elsewhere so as to not copy my sister, but nowhere came close to the welcoming atmosphere at Miss Bush. The service was fantastic and I had so much fun trying on different styles. My cheeks would always ache by the time I left Miss Bush. Emma has a wealth of experience and her honesty gives you huge confidence in your dress choice. The whole team were always so willing to help and make suggestions to ease the stress towards the big day. Nothing is ever too much trouble at Miss Bush. Charming staff, beautiful collection of dresses from amazing designers and a fun yet calming atmosphere. Each dress is immaculate, yet I was never made to feel worried or uncomfortable about stepping into the dresses. I cannot thank them enough for helping me to find my dream dress. I have highly recommended them to several friends and I hope that their hard work is recognised with such a prestigious award.

Ann6 Occasions by Uno boutique is just amazing. I went there as a clueless mother of the bride, with no idea at all of what I wanted to wear for my daughter's wedding. The staff there are so patient, helping me to try on as many outfits as I wanted, and giving some helpful suggestions. I ended up buying not only the outfit for my daughter's wedding, a beautiful Zeila dress, but an outfit to wear for my son't wedding which isn't till next year! Then when I bought my shoes from elsewhere in a sale, they were so helpful in picking out the right shade to have them dyed to make a perfect match.
Thank you all for making me proud to be on the wedding photos, instead of wanting to hide away!

Julie29 Occasions by Uno Boutique in Ivybridge, from start to finish they made my shopping for an outfit for my daughters wedding a wonderful experience. The staff were extremely helpful and very patient, I tried on lots of outfits and decided on a Condici dress with jacket !! I felt wonderful in my outfit and bought shoes also which were dyed to match my outfit. I would recommend Occasions in a flash - thank you.
