Dream venue: “Without hesitation, I'd jump at the chance to hire out the entire Burgh Island Hotel and fill it with family and friends for the weekend. The hotel is on its own little island just off the south Devon coast and when the tide is in, guests have to catch the sea tractor to reach it. Inside its bursting with original opulent 1930's details. It’s the perfect place for a super-sophisticated house party!”

On-screen inspiration:Shall We Dance with Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers; it’s my ultimate feel-good film. I love the cute pin curls Ginger wears in her hair, the glitzy Art-Deco interiors and the way they always dress for dinner! Ginger Rogers is my girly fashion crush – who wouldn’t want to waltz around in the sumptuous satin, feather and crystal encrusted gowns she gets to wear? ”

Fave aisle anecdote: “The day after our wedding, a big group of our friends headed down to the local seaside funfair. We played mini golf, ate fish and chips by the beach and the entire group bundled into the dodgems for a whizz round the track together. I even wore a little belted cream lace dress to extend the celebrations! It was so much fun and a great way to round off the weekend.”

Words of wisdom: “ I still have my wedding scrapbooks (yes, there are more than one!) crammed with gorgeous ideas that caught my eye and every bride-to-be should create their own. A mood board will really help you tie all your big day details together and save you from disappointment on the day as you can show your suppliers, from cake baker to florist, exactly what you want.”

Little loves: rose gold jewellery, sweetpeas in cut-crystal vases, mantilla veils, bright bridal shoes, peach bellinis.
