As a bona fide rock star, it was only suitable that Jamie Hince – fiancé of supermodel Kate Moss, no less – should celebrate his impending nuptials in rock star style.

Hince, 41, hit trendy venues all across London with his entourage of appropriately cool companions: leading the pack was band-mate Alison Mosshart (pictured here with Hince), who fronts the pair’s band, The Kills. Also in tow? Primal Scream’s Bobby Gillespie and artist Jake Chapman.

The makeshift motley crew were responsible for planning the marathon-style stag-extravaganza that started in Shoreditch, at Les Trois Garcons, one of London’s most fashionable French restaurants, complete with quirky-cool décor (think giraffe heads and coloured chandeliers). Next up was Hoxton’s music venue Macbeth, where the group enjoyed the first performance of the recently reunited Seventies band, The Mob, before taking the party back to their hotel. And when you’ve got one of London’s hippest bars, W Hotel’s VIP Wyld Bar, and the Extreme WOW suite to celebrate in, why choose? No wonder Hince looked a little worse for wear by the end of the evening; to-ing and fro-ing between London’s best party-spots takes its toll, even on rock stars.

With the coolest groom-to-be setting the standard high for stag do’s, the burning question is: what will Kate do? With rumours abound regarding the soon-to-be Mrs Hince’s hen-do, (the Ritz in Paris? A faux-gypsy wedding?) we’re all waiting to see what fashion’s royalty and the second celebrity Kate will wow us with in the run up to her star-studded July wedding.
