Great British Bake Off's Mat shares wedding pictures
His stint on the Great British Bake Off didn't last until the final, but Mat's certainly winning in the wedding department. The TV star and his gorgeous bride Alex threw a day to remember when they married in East Sussex. Photographer Andrew Marshall says: "What a day. It might have been the middle of a heatwave but this was the coolest wedding. The bride designed her own dress, made the bridesmaid dresses and grew her own flowers. They collected the crockery from second hand shops, friends made the food and even the sausages came from deer that grazed the field they partied in. The day started at The Bell in Ticehurst, the wedding venue was Wadhurst Castle and the party in a friend’s field under a circus tent."
Real wedding: A Justin Alexander dress at Iscoyd Park
Shropshire’s Iscoyd Park provided the perfect backdrop for Nicola Pennington, 30, and Mark Hinds, 32, and their flower-filled celebration. “We loved the fact that it was grand with beautiful grounds, but also relaxed and welcoming,” explains Nicola. They chose a décor theme that was all about bringing the outside in: heaps of beautiful blooms and oh-so- pretty botanical touches, from floral-edged homemade napkin rings and daisy-studded hessian bows on the chair backs to pastel sugar flowers sprinkled over the cake.
Real wedding: A family-friendly tipi garden party in Northumberland
With 30 children among their guests - including their two-year-old daughter, Edie - Katie and Darren needed a venue with plenty of outdoor space for keeping little ones entertained. Luckily, they found Shortflatt Tower, the perfect place to put up some Papakata tipis and fill with garden games, deck chairs and flowers.

Real wedding: A historical farmhouse in Crete
For Qatar-based couple Dale McCarthy and Hannah Webb, a wedding in Greece was a golden opportunity to bring their American and British families together. "Most guests arrived in Crete several days beforehand, so we were riding a massive love-wave for a week leading up to the big day," Hannah says of the festivities, which included an outdoor ceremony in a cobblestone courtyard and a family-style meal at rustic wooden tavern-style tables.
Real wedding: A silver screen romance in rural Kent
Lisa and Michael brought old Hollywood glamour to a pretty barn with handmade sparkly stationery, an eclectic mix of glassware and outfits worthy of any red carpet. The bride and groom's names really were up in lights, too, with huge glowing letters spelling out their initials on the dance floor.
