"We combined certain aspects of rings we liked to choose this one and I love it," says Jess. "It gets so many compliments." The ceremony Jess and Matt held their ceremony is the church where Jess' parents got married, in Northumberland.Jess' sister, from The Finishing Touch Company, decorated the church with lots of white flowers and foliage, as well as creating the styling and decor for the whole wedding. The wedding decor "I didn't really want a colour scheme," says Jess. "I wanted everything to appear quite neutral, so we went for white flowers and foliage with touches of grey.""We had two different types of centrepieces. The first was a combination of rustic seed crates and a floral arrangement, and the second was glass vases in assorted heights."READ MORE: Wedding table decorations and centre pieces: 25 interesting ways to dress up your tables The top table "Our top table was a long banquet table in the centre of the room, with a floral and foliage garland down the centre," explains Jess. The table names The whole wedding had a very subtle dog theme, thanks to Jess' parents' toy poodles, so the tables were named after dog breeds - we love this cute way to involve your pets in your wedding! The wedding dress Jess wore an elegant Catherine Deane wedding dress."I loved all of her designs, but this one really stood out and fitted me so well when I tried it on," says Jess."I didn't want to look too bridal, and I am very picky so I know when I like something!"READ MORE: 9 Things you need to know Before Wedding Dress Shopping A personal touch "I added my grandmother's sapphire brooch to the satin tie waist sash," says Jess."This was really important to me as she gave it to me before she passed away several years ago and wanted me to wear it on my wedding day. It finished my dress off perfectly." Bridal hair and make-up Lisa Jones Hair and Make Up did hair and make-up for me, my bridesmaids and my mum,” says Jess.“I hadn't decided what I was doing with my hair until the day, but I totally trusted Lisa and she gave me exactly what I asked for. She gave a lot of advice on what would work well and what wouldn't. "They all wore the same style for the ceremony, then were able to change them late for the reception. I loved the grey colour, they looked simple and elegant which was exactly what I wanted." The groom and groomsmen Matt wore a classic black morning suit with striped trousers and a waistcoat. "We wanted a traditional style that wouldn't end up looking dated, so a morning suit felt like the right fit," he explains.
