Katy had always known she wanted to get married in Italy, it was just a case of finding a venue that fitted her dream, complete with archways, a staircase and a classic style."We went on a three-day scouting trip to Puglia, organised by our wedding planner Elisabetta White. Castello Marchione was the last one we viewed, and even seeing it in the distance as we drove in gave me goosebumps and brought me to tears," shares Katy."It was beautiful and and I instantly had a feeling of love. We fixed our date then and there."READ MORE: Everything You Need To Know About Getting Married In Italy The outdoor wedding ceremony Katy and Edward held their ceremony outside at 4pm, to make sure the temperature was comfortable for their guests."We has gypsophila balls hanging from the tree branches, and had gypsophila spheres draped on the aisle chairs," explains Katy. READ MORE: Ideas for outdoor and woodland weddings The wedding colour scheme Katy and Edward went for a white, navy and gold colour scheme, coordinating their Made by Molu stationery to this palette. The white, navy and gold wedding theme "White, navy and gold worked perfectly with the style and grandeur of the venue," explains Katy."We favour a classic, regal and traditional style with modern twists," she continues. The table decorations "We decorated our tables with gold candelabras, and each table name was in a gold photo frame," says Katy."Each of our tables were named after a winery or vineyard found in Italy, inspired by Edward's love of wine."READ MORE: 24 Unique Wedding Table Name Ideas The table plan The table plans were placed on an opulent gold mirror, in keeping with the classic and elegant feel for the day. READ MORE: Real couples' table plans The wedding flowers "We chose to have gypsophila as our wedding flowers as they are white and simple," says Katy."It allowed for our flowers to be uniform across my bouquets and the decorations, and keep the simplicity we wanted." The wedding cake The wedding cake was made by in-house caterers at the venue, and was a round cake made of layers of fluffy cream and flaky pastry, topped with blueberries to keep in with the navy theme.It sat atop a glittering gold table cloth. READ MORE: 23 chic and subtle glitter wedding ideas The wedding dress Katy's strapless wedding dress was designed by Allure Bridals."I got goosebumps when I put it on and felt a million dollars!" says Katy. The veil "I wore a veil for the ceremony and removed it for the reception," explains Katy."It wasn't to cover my hair, but to sit on my hair and drape down my back."READ MORE: 19 Wedding Hairstyles that Look Amazing with Veils The navy blue bridesmaid dresses The adult bridesmaids wore Twobirds navy bridesmaid dresses, while Katy's youngest bridesmaid wore a Monsoon outfit. READ MORE: 31 Beautiful Blue Bridesmaids Dresses The grooms and groomsmen Edward and his groomsmen wore specially designed three-piece suits, handmade by his favourite tailor in Dubai, where the couple lived.READ MORE: Suave Blue Wedding Suits for the Groom The first dance The newlyweds had their first dance Florence and the Machine's rendition of You've Got The Love."It's one of our favourite songs from the past," reveals Katy. "The words are cute without being soppy, and it sums us up.
