Great British Bake Off's Mat shares wedding pictures
His stint on the Great British Bake Off didn't last until the final, but Mat's certainly winning in the wedding department. The TV star and his gorgeous bride Alex threw a day to remember when they married in East Sussex. Photographer Andrew Marshall says: "What a day. It might have been the middle of a heatwave but this was the coolest wedding. The bride designed her own dress, made the bridesmaid dresses and grew her own flowers. They collected the crockery from second hand shops, friends made the food and even the sausages came from deer that grazed the field they partied in. The day started at The Bell in Ticehurst, the wedding venue was Wadhurst Castle and the party in a friend’s field under a circus tent."

They chose a décor theme that was all about bringing the outside in: heaps of beautiful blooms and oh-so- pretty botanical touches, from floral-edged homemade napkin rings and daisy-studded hessian bows on the chair backs to pastel sugar flowers sprinkled over the cake.
