The London wedding venue
Nasma and John held their wedding at iconic London wedding venue Kew Gardens, and took inspiration from the abundance of flowers in their surroundings for the decor.

"We wanted a distinct venue and when we went to see Kew we fell in love with the stunning surroundings, especially the Princess of Wales Conservatory, where we held our reception," explains Nasma.
The bright wedding flowers
John and Nasma's colourful floral displays were created by Enchanted by Syma, and really brought their opulent and colourful wedding day to life.

"I met with our florist and discussed the colours and flowers that I liked, and then left her to it," shares Nasma. "She is extremely talented and did an amazing job."

The arrangements included roses, orchids, peonies, hydrangeas and amaranths.

READ MORE: How many flowers do I need for my wedding?
The table decorations
With such dramatic floral displays, there was little need for a great deal more table decoration, so Nasma and John added candle arrangements for an elegant touch.

READ MORE: 25 interesting ways to dress up your tables at your wedding
John and Nasma's dog, Gizmo, provided a great deal of inspiration, despite being unable to attend their wedding.

"I made sure he was included in the day. He was the inspiration behind our table names, and our card post box was a dog kennel, and we had a dog made out of flowers next to it," explains Nasma.

"Our tables were named after breeds, and the top table was called Lhasa Apso which is Gizmo's breed."

READ MORE: How to include your pets in your wedding

Gizmo also influenced the wedding drinks, with cocktails named after him; the Gizmopolitan and Lhasa Martini.

READ MORE: Ten fabulous wedding cocktails
The place cards
Rather than traditional name cards, Nasma and John had beautifully detailed birds as name place holders, with colours that matched their floral displays.

Read more: 32 Unique Name Card Ideas for your Wedding
The colourful wedding stationery
The wedding stationery reflected the colour scheme too.

"Our stationery was a bespoke design made by Eagle Eyed Bride. I told them that I wanted a floral design to match our colour scheme. All of our stationery was the same design including the orders of service, table names and numbers, menu cards and cocktail menus."
The wedding dress
Nasma's beautiful wedding dress was bought from Brown's Bride, and was designed by Galia Lahav, named Navona.

"I had seen the dress on the Galia Lahav website prior to visiting the store. When I tried it on, I loved it instantly. I did not want to take it off. It had everything – it was elegant, stylish and had amazing detail and I felt it was just me," says Nasma.
The backless wedding dress
"It was a long sleeved lace, mermaid style gown. It was embellished all over with shimmering beads and sequins with a deep neckline and very low back," Nasma continues.

READ MORE: 23 Beautiful Backless Wedding Dresses

The groom's suit
John wore a dapper suit from Neal and Palmer, complete with a tie and a pocket square in a shade to match the bridesmaid dresses.

The wedding cake
The showstopping wedding cake was created by Jemma Regis of Jemz Cake Box, and was over six feet tall, baroque style and adorned with sugar flowers in colours to match the bold colour theme.

"They looked extremely real and matched the flowers in the table arrangements and stationery perfectly," says Nasma.
