The bridal party: Mia Wasikowski (Alice in Wonderland) stars as heroine Jane, alongside Michael Fassbender (X-Men; First Class) as the broody, handsome Mr Rochester with Dame Judi Dench as the loveable housekeeper Mrs Fairfax.

Romance rating: We dig any movie that gets our hearts aflutter, and the on-screen chemistry between Jane and her Mr Rochester is ideal if you're looking to snuggle up close over a shared bag of popcorn. We also reckon fictitious Thornfield Hall – where all the action takes place – might be our new fave fantasy wedding reception venue – well, that's if we can convince hubby to go Victorian-gent for the day...
