Wed Alfresco in the Middleton Rose Garden

For a venue oozing elegance and stylish sophistication, the Middleton Rose Garden couldn’t be more perfect…

One of London's oldest private gardens, dating back to the mid-eighteenth century, is re-opening as a grand wedding reception venue this month.

The Middleton Garden (no relation to Kate) is something of a wonder and is an ideal reception venue for up to 250 guests, which can be booked along with the hotel's breathtaking Grand Ballroom. If 420 square metres of pure luxe doesn’t do it for you – think grand piers, elegant railings and jaw-dropping views – you’ll definitely be blown away by the garden.

Adorned with climbing roses, jasmines and bay trees for a lush, evergreen feel, these high-impact greens are subtly lit to create a romantic night-time feel.

As a part of the recent £80 million refurbishment of the hotel, the Grand Ballroom has been lovingly restored – it’s the ideal big-day-backdrop with dramatic Renaissance-style pillars and sparkling chandeliers, plus fine hand-painted decorative detailing.

Getting married in a historical venue like The Middleton Rose Garden, doesn’t mean your ceremony has to be dated – give old traditions a cool modern twist or have your cake and eat it, with these amazing new wedding cakes from Marks & Spencer
