Want to inject some vintage glamour into your wedding day? Need to scout out suppliers with a rockin’ retro twist to their wares? Then get yourself a ticket to A Most Curious Wedding Fair.
Taking place in London and Norwich during October, this cute and quirky event will be showcasing the crème-de-la-crème of vintage wedding suppliers in a fun-filled atmosphere. From flowers to photography, all your W-day essentials will be covered as well as those unexpected finishing touches (past shows included cabaret girls, oyster boys and hula hooping gymnasts!)
And when you need to take a breather from exploring the ideas-packed suppliers’ stands, there’s plenty more to keep you amused. The fair also boasts paper bouquet and buttonhole workshops, live music, fashion shows, make-up demos and a refreshing vintage-inspired tearoom.
Ahead-of-the-trend brides will also be excited to hear about the launch of the Bridal NEXT! competition, Most Curious’ brand new project to spot fresh wedding talent. Ten emerging designers will be given the chance to showcase their creations at the fair and compete for the title of ‘Most Curious One To Watch’, judged by industry experts including Y&YW’s editor-at-large Peta Hunt. The winner of this accolade will also see their designs stocked by Ruby & Diva online bridal boutique (London winner) and in Antidote Vintage and Handmade Fashion (Norwich winner). So if you’re a budding wedding-day supplier, click here to find out how to enter. Be quick though – entries must be in by 5pm on 10 September.
